Welcome to the St. Moritz Christmas Market 2026 in St. Moritz
On Wednesday, 2 December 2026, Plaza Mauritius in the pedestrian zone of St. Moritz transforms into a festively decorated Christmas village from 16:00. Until around 20:00, exhibitors invite visitors to discover regional products, culinary specialties and handcrafted gift ideas. A varied musical programme accompanies the evening and creates pre-Christmas joy in the heart of the world-famous luxury ski resort.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
The St. Moritz Christmas Market is a compact evening event. It opens at 16:00 and ends around 20:00. Exhibitors present regional delicacies and crafts. A musical programme with regional choirs and brass players provides a festive atmosphere. The visit of Santa Claus and Schmutzli is a particular highlight for families.
Christmas Markets in Upper Engadin
In addition to the market in St. Moritz, atmospheric Christmas markets take place from late November to mid-December 2026 in the surrounding villages of the Upper Engadin. They offer traditional crafts, regional specialties and a winter atmosphere in historic village centres.
Christmas Market Celerina
On Saturday, 5 December 2026, from 16:00 to 21:00 in the historic village centre and community square. Mulled wine, gingerbread and handcrafted gifts. Santa Claus visits the market in the early evening.
Christmas Market Samedan
On Sunday, 6 December 2026, from 17:00 to 20:00. Cosy market with regional specialties and festive lighting in the village centre.
Further Markets: La Punt, Zuoz, Sils and Vicosoprano
Saturday 28 November: La Punt (15:00–19:00). Saturday 12 December: Zuoz (15:00–20:00) in the historic village centre. Sunday 20 December: Sils. Friday 11 December: Vicosoprano (Maloja). All markets are free of charge and invite visitors to stroll in a snow-covered alpine setting.

Admission to the St. Moritz Christmas Market and all Christmas markets in the Upper Engadin is free of charge. Costs only arise for food, drinks and optional purchases. Typical prices for mulled wine and snacks are in the range of approximately 5–10 Euro (converted from CHF).
