Welcome to the Weihnachtsmarkt am Stadtgarten 2026 in Cologne
The Stadtgarten Christmas Market sits in Cologne’s oldest park at Venloer Strasse 40 in the Belgian Quarter. Rheinland Tourismus still lists the 2026 dates as pending. In 2025 the market ran from 14 November to 23 December. Entry was free. The organiser is Stadtgarten-Restaurant-Betriebs GmbH. Live dates sit only on weihnachtsmarkt-stadtgarten.de and stadtgarten.de.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
In 2025 hours were Monday to Friday 16:00–21:30 and Saturday and Sunday 12:00–21:30; on Remembrance Sunday the market opened later. 2026 hours and the stage bill are not official yet. Typical features are rotating traders, weekend jazz and an opening concert. Food and drinks are paid at the stalls.
Stadtgarten says the mulled wine is stronger than at many other markets. Non-alcoholic punch is available. Remembrance Sunday may be limited; that must be checked again for 2026.
Tickets & Admission for Weihnachtsmarkt am Stadtgarten Cologne
Entry was free in 2025 and is expected to stay free. There is no day ticket. Food, mulled wine and deposit mugs cost extra. price_min and price_max are therefore 0. Concerts inside Stadtgarten are separate and often ticketed.

- U-Bahn to Friesenplatz or Hans-Boeckler-Platz; Westbahnhof is a short walk
