Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
The Nikolausmarkt in Burgsteinfurt opens on 2 December 2026 from 17:00 on the historic market square and along Steinstraße. In addition to numerous stalls offering crafts and food, the ice stock track provides extra entertainment. St. Nicholas usually visits on Friday. Stores are open for Sunday shopping.
The Borghorst Christmas Market on the square “Auf dem Schilde” and Münsterstraße starts on 11 December 2026. Visitors can enjoy Christmas stalls, hot drinks, live music and the popular X-Mas Party. St. Nicholas appears on stage on Saturday from around 18:00. Exact opening hours and the current programme will be published on the official Steinfurt Erleben GmbH website.
