Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
The exact 2027 date is still to be announced, according to the organisers and Zurich’s public transport network. Another mid-August weekend is expected. In 2025, Friday ran from 17:30 to 24:00 and Saturday from 11:00 (bars until 02:00). The 2027 line-up has not been released. The festival usually features local bands, singers and DJs as well as selected newcomers; the musical range typically includes reggae, rap and rock. A children’s concert is a regular Saturday highlight. Food stalls and bars complement the music. The popular island football cup did not take place in 2025; it is not yet clear whether it will return in 2027.

Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Zurich
- Take tram or bus to Zurich, Tüffenwies; the site is on Werdinsel (8049 Zurich). Parking nearby is limited – public transport is the better option.
- Mid-August in Zurich is often warm; pack light summer clothes, sun protection and a light layer for the evening by the river. Swimwear is common on the island but is not part of the festival itself.
- Book stays in Höngg, Wipkingen or central Zurich early if you need a hotel. The open-air does not offer camping.
- If you want to support the free festival, buy drinks at the bars rather than bringing large amounts of your own.
- Check the official website and the association’s social channels for the 2027 line-up, opening hours and visitor notes once they are announced.
