Welcome to the Winter RE:WIND 2026 in Lech Zurs
Winter RE:WIND is the ski-and-DJ opening weekend of the winter season in Lech Zurs, Austria, on the Arlberg. The 2026/2027 ski season starts on 2 December 2026; the festival runs from 4 to 6 December 2026. Fresh slopes, mountain huts and the main stage in the Schlegelkopf area combine first turns of the season with electronic music.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
Lech Zurs Tourism states that the 2026 programme is still being finalised. International DJs and live acts are planned at selected mountain venues and on the Schlegelkopf festival stage. In 2025, open-air sets on Saturday and Sunday ran mainly in the afternoon (typically from around 1:00 p.m.), with the party moving into clubs after sunset. David Puentez headlined that edition; no 2026 headliner has been announced.
Expect electronic and house-oriented DJ culture, hut après-ski and village club nights rather than a multi-stage ticketed mega-festival. Check lechzuers.com shortly before arrival for stage times, as the 2026 timetable is not yet public.
Tickets & Admission for Winter RE:WIND Lech Zurs
At the 2025 edition, admission to the Schlegelkopf open-air stage was free, with entry checks. No separate festival ticket has been published for 2026, so the outdoor stage is expected to remain free of a festival fee. Individual clubs may apply their own door policies. Skiing is not included: an adult Ski Arlberg day pass in the early-December value period costs about EUR 80.50, and EUR 85.00 in peak season (official tariff overview; subject to change). Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Lech Zurs
- Travel by train to Langen am Arlberg or St. Anton am Arlberg, then continue by post bus to Lech. Local buses serve the villages. Drivers should use winter tyres and allow extra time on the Flexen Pass road.
- Early December in Lech Zurs is cold, often below freezing. Pack proper ski clothing, gloves, a hat and winter boots; add a windproof layer for the outdoor stage.
- Lech Zurs is a luxury resort. Book hotels or apartments early for opening weekend, ideally with ski storage and easy access to the Schlegelkopf lift or the village bus.
- Reaching the Schlegelkopf stage usually means a lift ride; confirm whether you need a ski pass or a pedestrian ticket.
- Village parking is limited. Public transport or a hotel shuttle is the easier option on festival afternoons.
