From 20 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, Winterlights transforms Luxembourg’s capital into a winter wonderland of lights. Four main Christmas markets, a large Ferris wheel, an outdoor ice rink, concerts and events create a complete winter festival experience with free admission.

Winterlights runs continuously from 20 November 2026 to 3 January 2027. Markets are typically open Sunday to Thursday from around 11:00 to 21:00 and Friday to Saturday until 22:00 (exact times may vary slightly; reduced hours on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, usually closed on 25 December). In addition to the four main markets, the festival offers concerts, exhibitions, children’s activities and special events such as the traditional St Nicholas procession.
