Welcome to the Winters Bierfestival 2026 in Waregem
The 11th Winters Bierfestival takes place on Saturday, 28 November 2026, from 14:00 to 22:00 at SO Gaverke in Waregem. Organised by the Waregemse Biervrienden, this tasting festival lets visitors discover artisanal beers from 11 breweries – with free entry and a cosy, family-friendly winter atmosphere.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
On 28 November 2026 the festival opens from 14:00 to 22:00. Visitors meet 11 brewers and can taste 15 cl of beer per token. The selection includes blondes, browns, sour styles and stronger winter beers. In addition to tasting there is a children’s corner with games, face painting and comics, plus snacks and non-alcoholic alternatives. The event welcomes both dedicated beer enthusiasts and families.
Tickets & Admission for Winters Bierfestival Waregem
Admission is completely free. For tasting, the starter pack costs €16 and includes a special festival glass (15 cl) plus 6 tokens. Extra tokens are €2 each. Returning the glass at the end gives a €2 deposit refund. Tokens can also be used at the coffee/soft-drink bar and the food stand. Cash and card payments are accepted.
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Waregem
- By train: Waregem station is less than a 10-minute walk from SO Gaverke; directional signs are provided.
- Parking: around 50 free spaces opposite the venue near the church, over 400 paid spaces behind the station (approx. 750 m) and over 600 free spaces at Expo Waregem (approx. 1 km).
- Comfortable, warm clothing is recommended for the indoor winter atmosphere and any outdoor walks.
- Arriving early allows a more relaxed tasting experience and better availability of popular beers.
- Families can make use of the supervised children’s corner while adults enjoy the beers at a leisurely pace.
