On selected weekends between November 20 and December 30, 2026, the famous Seebühne stage in Mörbisch am See turns into a winter sea of lights. This year the area also includes the adjoining lakeside bath for the first time, covering roughly 15,000 square meters right in the wine region around Lake Neusiedl. At the center stands the largest nativity scene in the world, a work by set designer Manfred Waba measuring 90 meters wide and 18 meters high, brought to life with a new projection show of light, color and music.

Winterwunder Mörbisch does not run continuously but opens across six date blocks between November 20 and December 30, 2026: November 20 to 22, November 26 to 29, December 3 to 8, December 10 to 13, December 17 to 20, and December 26 to 30. Friday and Saturday hours are 16:00 to 20:30 (last entry 19:30), while Sunday, holidays and December 7, 28, 29 and 30 run from 16:00 to 19:30 (last entry 18:30). The event is closed on December 25. The evening ticket booth opens at 15:30.

A day ticket costs 21 euros for adults, 15 euros for children and teenagers, and 17 euros for seniors, students and those in compulsory service with valid identification.
