Event Details

What is the Wireless Festival?

The Wireless Festival is London's leading Hip Hop, Grime and R&B festival. Founded in 2005 by Festival Republic, it grew from a one day pop and rock event in Hyde Park into the UK's flagship showcase for urban music. Past headliners have included Jay Z, Rihanna, Kanye West, Cardi B, Stormzy, Drake and Nicki Minaj, alongside rising talent from the UK grime and rap scene.

Where does the Wireless Festival take place?

Since 2014, Finsbury Park in North London has been the festival's regular home (with a few exceptions in Crystal Palace Park and Birmingham). The park holds up to 50,000 visitors per day and sits in a well connected part of the city.

When does the Wireless Festival take place?

Wireless has traditionally run over an extended weekend in July (usually three days). The 2026 edition, however, was cancelled after the UK Home Office denied entry to announced headliner Ye (Kanye West). Festival Republic has publicly committed to bringing the festival back, but as of now no dates, venue or line up have been confirmed for the next edition. Anyone wanting updates should follow the official website and Festival Republic's channels.

Who performs at the Wireless Festival?

The line up traditionally centers on international Hip Hop, Grime and R&B acts. The 2025 anniversary edition was headlined by Drake, the first artist ever to headline three consecutive festival nights, joined by guests including PartyNextDoor, Summer Walker, Burna Boy and Lauryn Hill. No line up has been announced yet for upcoming editions.

How much do tickets cost?

In previous years, day tickets were priced around £190, with full weekend tickets costing considerably more. Since no date or line up is confirmed for the next edition, there is currently no official pricing or on sale date. Tickets should only be purchased through the official website or authorised partners such as Ticketmaster once sales open.

How do I get to Finsbury Park?

The park is well served by the London Underground: Finsbury Park and Manor House stations (Victoria Line and Piccadilly Line) are both a short walk away. Visitors travelling from outside London can also use coach services from numerous UK cities. Given the high volume of visitors on festival days, it is worth allowing extra time, particularly on Saturdays and Sundays.
