Visitor Tips
- Take advantage of the WolfgangseeSchifffahrt (boat service) to arrive in St. Wolfgang romantically by water and explore the neighboring markets in Strobl and St. Gilgen.
- Make sure to spend time at the lakeshore in the early evening to admire the illuminated floating peace lantern on the water.
- Dress very warmly, as it can get quite cold and windy directly on the lakeshore and aboard the boats.
- Pay attention to the opening hours: the market stalls are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays (with the exception of 7 and 8 December).
- Parking fills up quickly, making arrival by boat from neighboring towns the most stress-free option.
