Welcome to the Zuger Wiesn 2026 in Zug
The Zuger Wiesn returns for the 7th time in 2026 and turns the Stierenmarkt area into a genuine Bavarian festival ground in the heart of Zug on 25 and 26 September. Expect authentic Wiesn atmosphere, live music and classic Bavarian specialities in Central Switzerland.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
The Zuger Wiesn takes place on Friday 25 September and Saturday 26 September 2026 from 17:00 to 23:00 each day (last drinks at 22:45). The party band Compass delivers the biggest Oktoberfest hits live, while the DJ duo Wilder Zipfel maintains the atmosphere. Bavarian food, drinks and lively celebration are at the centre of the event. Entry is from 18 years of age.
Tickets & Admission for Zuger Wiesn Zug
Table reservations for 4 or more people cost CHF 80 per person and include a CHF 50 consumption voucher. Limited standing tickets without a seat are available at the evening box office for CHF 35. Approximate equivalent: 37–85 EUR depending on the exchange rate. Reservations via email to [email protected]. Friday was partially sold out at times – early booking is recommended.
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Zug
- Best reached by public transport: Zug railway station is a short distance from the Stierenmarkt area on Chamerstrasse.
- Dirndl or lederhosen enhance the atmosphere but are not compulsory.
- Book accommodation in Zug or nearby early, as the event is popular locally.
- Credit cards, cash and Twint are accepted; cash or Twint preferred for evening box office vouchers.
- After-party possible at the Lounge & Gallery (free entry with voucher).
