The 29th Zurich Oktoberfest at Bauschänzli brings authentic Munich Wiesn atmosphere right into the heart of Zurich. From 8 October to 7 November 2026 the historic island in the Limmat is transformed into a heated festival tent with Bavarian specialities, live music and litre steins of beer. The event stays true to classic tradition and seats around 800 guests.

The Zurich Oktoberfest Bauschänzli runs from 8 October to 7 November 2026. Opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. (kitchen until 10 p.m.) and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (kitchen until 5 p.m.). Live music accompanies the evenings from 5 p.m. to 10:45 p.m. and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Especially popular are the Sunday brunch and the themed evenings Hanselmann Wiesn (15 October) and Pink Monday (19 October). The atmosphere closely follows the original Munich Oktoberfest.

Walk-in and single tickets are available in limited numbers from 5 p.m. on site (first come, first serve) and cost around 50–80 Euro per person (with traditional costume including a litre of beer and a food voucher). Table reservations for 8–10 people start at approximately 750–1200 Euro and include admission, music, cloakroom and extensive consumption packages. Brunch tickets are around 50 Euro.
