In the middle of July, the picturesque Moselle riverbank in the former fishing quarter of Trier Zurlauben once again turns into a multi day festival mile. Held since 1957, the Zurlaubener Heimatfest is one of the most traditional neighborhood festivals in Trier and draws tens of thousands of visitors straight to the riverside every year.
