Welcome to the Zwönitz Hutzentage 2026 in Zwönitz
From November 27 to 29, 2026, the market square of the old mining town of Zwönitz in the Ore Mountains turns into a festively lit Christmas village. The Zwönitz Hutzentage traditionally open the Advent season on the first Advent weekend, bringing craft stalls, regional traditions and a rich cultural program for the whole family.

Saturday brings the Santa parade, the pyramid pushing and a lively market stage program before the main Bergparade in the evening, when brass bands and music clubs lead the procession through the illuminated town. Sunday begins with church services in the local parishes and continues with a relaxed stroll through the market and the cutting of the giant stollen.

Visiting the Christmas market is completely free of charge. Food, mulled wine and handcrafted goods at the individual stalls are priced as usual, but there is no admission fee for the market itself.
