Amphi Festival 2026 – 20 Years of Dark Culture at Tanzbrunnen

On 25 and 26 July 2026, the Amphi Festival celebrates its 20th anniversary in Cologne. Thousands of fans of the gothic and dark music scene gather at the Tanzbrunnen on the right bank of the Rhine for two days of Gothic Rock, EBM, Dark Wave, Synthpop, Industrial and medieval sounds across three stages. Alongside the Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig and M'era Luna, Amphi is one of the most prestigious festivals of its kind in Germany.

Line-Up 2026

More than 40 bands are confirmed for the 20th anniversary edition. Headliners include VNV Nation, Eisbrecher, Clan of Xymox, Diary of Dreams, Das Ich, Mono Inc., Welle:Erdball, Rotersand, Lebanon Hanover and Assemblage 23. Joining them are Solitary Experiments, Solar Fake, Heldmaschine, Joachim Witt, Harpyie, Pink Turns Blue, Dina Summer, Empathy Test, Whispers in the Shadow and many more artists spanning Synth-Rock, Electro, Post-Punk, Neue Deutsche Härte, Futurepop and Gothic Rock.

Tickets

The weekend ticket for both festival days was priced at €110 in advance. According to the official organiser, regular tickets are currently sold out. Remaining tickets may be found through authorised secondary market platforms. Visitors should be especially cautious with offers from private individuals as the organiser has issued a warning about counterfeit tickets circulating on social media.

Program & Grounds

The Tanzbrunnen festival grounds cover approximately 30,000 m² directly on the Rhine with views of Cologne Cathedral. In addition to three concert stages, visitors can explore a medieval market, the community gathering spot known as the Met Island, artist signing sessions, readings, and evening parties at the adjacent Theater am Tanzbrunnen.   • Bring cash; ATMs on the grounds charge high fees.
