Welcome to the Bockbieranstich 2026 at Kronprinz in Gaustadt
In Bamberg's Gaustadt district, inside the historic Art Nouveau building of the former Fischerhof, Brauerei Kronprinz invites guests to the Bockbieranstich on October 23, 2026. The building was constructed in the mid 19th century as the "Fischerhofschlösschen" and served as a weekend meeting spot for monks from St. Michael's monastery roughly 250 years ago. Brewing began here in 2016, originally under the name "Erlkönig" as a craft beer brewery, before being renamed "Kronprinz" the same year.

- Gaustadt lies a little outside Bamberg's old town; the brewery can be reached either on foot along the left arm of the Regnitz river, or by city bus to the Gaustadt Fabrikbau stop, which is right across the street
- Arriving by car from Bamberg is straightforward; coming from Bischberg, roadworks may cause some restrictions
- October evenings can turn cool, so a warm jacket is a good idea
- Since the brewery restaurant is open continuously every day, it's still worth arriving early for a good spot on the tapping evening
