Welcome to DAS FEST Karlsruhe 2027
From 22 to 25 July 2027, the Günther Klotz Anlage in Karlsruhe once again becomes southern Germany's largest family and music festival. DAS FEST has taken place since 1985 and drew around 260,000 visitors in 2026. Over four days, several stages offer a genre spanning program of pop, rock, indie, electronic and classical music, complemented by sports, culture and a wide range of family activities.

Program
DAS FEST traditionally takes place on the last weekend before the BadenWürttemberg summer holidays begin. Alongside the ticketed main stage in the hill area, the Feld, Kultur and Fest Floor stages are open to everyone free of charge on all four days. The musical program is rounded out with sports activities at the Sparda Sportpark, a children's and culture program, and the India Summer Days series. The full 2027 lineup will be announced closer to the festival; ticket presale begins on 23 November 2026 at 6:00 PM.
Tickets
Day tickets, a four day FESTival ticket and a Sunday morning classic ticket are available for the ticketed hill area with the main stage. In 2026 a day ticket cost 22.70 euros including fees, and the four day ticket was around 85 euros; exact 2027 prices will be published when presale opens. Children under six enter free when accompanied by a guardian. Tickets are available online through the official ticket shop and in person at the tourist information office on Marktplatz Karlsruhe.
Visitor Tips
- Secure tickets for the paid hill area early, as the main stage is in high demand.
- Traveling by train or bicycle is recommended; the ticket serves as a transit pass within the KVV network on the day of the event.
- A visit is worthwhile even without a ticket, since over 70 percent of the program is free.
- Visitors under 16 must leave or be accompanied by an adult after 10:00 PM.
- Allow enough time for the walk from the main station (about 2.5 kilometers) or take the tram to Europahalle/Europabad.
