Welcome to Heartland Festival 2027
From 10 to 12 June 2027, the gardens of Egeskov Castle on the Danish island of Funen will once again become one of Europe's most extraordinary festival settings. Heartland Festival brings together a diverse music programme with contemporary art, inspiring talks and exceptional gastronomy. It is a festival for those who want to feel, think, taste and experience, set within a landscape that invites both reflection and shared celebration.
What is Heartland Festival?
Founded in 2016, Heartland Festival is built on four pillars: music, art, talks and food. Three stages present international artists and emerging talents. Art installations blend into the castle gardens, while talks open new perspectives. Culinary experiences focus on local ingredients and sustainable dining. The festival welcomes up to 15,000 visitors per day. Past headliners include Duran Duran, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Justin Timberlake, Robbie Williams, Alanis Morissette and Eddie Vedder.

Programme 2027
The full lineup for Heartland Festival 2027 will be announced at a later date. As in previous years, organisers promise a balanced mix of international headliners and Danish artists, with an equal representation of female and male acts. In addition to the music programme, daily talks and contemporary art encounters will take place throughout the festival grounds.
Tickets
The early-bird Heartfelt partout tickets for Heartland Festival 2027 were offered at 2,795 DKK (plus 15 DKK processing fee) before the programme was announced and are now sold out. Further ticket categories, including 2-day and 1-day tickets, under-25 tickets and local tickets for residents of Faaborg-Midtfyn Municipality, will be released at a later stage. All tickets are issued as mobile tickets and managed exclusively through Ticketmaster. Day-of tickets may be available at the gate if the event is not sold out.
VIP Options
Heartland Festival offers two VIP ticket categories. The VIP ticket grants access to the Wonderland area, which features a bar, seating zones and daily drink vouchers. The VIP+ ticket additionally includes access to the exclusive Platinum Lounge with an open bar, freshly mixed cocktails and a gourmet lunch or dinner prepared with local produce from the Egeskov estate. VIP+ tickets are available as 1-day tickets only.
Families with Children
Heartland Festival warmly welcomes families. The dedicated children's area Hjerteland offers a colourful and lively world with physical activities, performances, food and quiet moments. Children aged 0 to 12 require a child ticket. Children up to age 5 may enter the camping area free of charge when accompanied by an adult with a camping pass.
Visitor Tips
- Travel by train from Odense, which has regular connections to Kværndrup station.
- Parking is available near the festival grounds; carpooling is encouraged.
- The festival does not offer on-site camping; book hotels, holiday apartments or bed and breakfasts in the area well in advance.
- Tickets are managed as mobile tickets via the Ticketmaster app.
- Egeskov Castle remains partially open to visitors during the festival period.
- Tickets can be legally resold via Ticketmaster Resale.
