Welcome to Heidelberger Frühling 2027
From 13 March to 17 April 2027, Heidelberg once again becomes a stage for the international classical music scene. This edition of the Heidelberger Frühling marks its 30th anniversary; founded in 1997, the festival is one of Germany's most renowned classical music events. The program features more than 100 events that attract around 47,000 visitors each year.

Program
Since 1997, the Heidelberger Frühling has been a meeting point for the international classical music scene, bringing stars and emerging talents to Heidelberg for several weeks every spring. The full program for the 2027 anniversary edition will be presented on 29 September 2026 at a public event in the Konzerthaus Stadthalle. Based on previous editions, the festival typically includes an opening weekend, thematic focuses, orchestral concerts, chamber music evenings and the festival campus, which offers formats designed for younger audiences, including free re:start concerts across Heidelberg neighborhoods. The music festival is complemented by the Heidelberger Frühling's year round offerings: the Streichquartettfest (string quartet festival) in January, the Kammermusik Plus subscription series at the Aula of the Old University, and the Liedfestival in June.
Tickets
Ticket sales for the 2027 music festival usually open in October of the previous year, once the program has been published. Everyone under 30 can get tickets for 8 euros starting three days before each concert; families and Heidelberg Pass holders receive discounts. Exact prices for individual concerts will be announced together with the program in September 2026.
