Welcome to the Inndammfest 2026 in Wasserburg am Inn
On Saturday, 15 August 2026, the "Inndammbiber" host the 37th Inndammfest. From 3:00 PM, the flood dike around the old town of Wasserburg am Inn turns into a lively community festival run by local clubs, with free admission and views over the Inn river.
Highlights
- About a dozen coffee, grill and snack stations run by local clubs
- Several stations with live music
- Free boat rides on the Inn river
- Climbing wall and bouncy castle for kids
- Face painting and other family activities
- Evening illumination with the Inndamm string of lights
Program
About a dozen local clubs, including the Stadtgarde Wasserburg, the Musik und Theaterverein Attel, the Bergwacht Wasserburg, the Wasserwacht Wasserburg and the Bavarian Hunting Association, offer specialties such as pulled pork burgers, grilled skewered fish, venison goulash and grilled chicken along the dike, together with beer, wine and soft drinks. The Wasserwacht runs free boat rides on the Inn, live music plays at several stations, and children can enjoy a climbing wall and a bouncy castle. In the evening, the Inndamm is lit up with its traditional string of lights. If it rains, the festival moves to Sunday, 16 August; it then starts already at 12:00 PM with lunch and ends at 7:00 PM, and the evening lights are skipped that day.
Tickets
Admission to the Inndammfest is free. Food and drinks are paid for directly at the stands of the participating clubs.
