Welcome to Kløften Festival in Haderslev
Kløften Festival in Haderslev is one of Southern Jutland's most beloved summer music events, held every year since 1980 in the scenic Kløftens Park. Set around the city's iconic red water tower, the festival gathers thousands of music fans from across Denmark and Northern Europe for three days of live music, community spirit and an atmosphere unlike any other. The entire event is run by dedicated volunteers, and all surplus funds are distributed annually to local associations and charitable causes in the Haderslev municipality.

Program and Stages
Kløften Festival runs across five stages: Store Scenen (main stage), Bakke Scenen, Down Under, Klubben and Pub Scenen. Gates open at different times each day: Thursday from 4:15 PM, Friday from 2:15 PM and Saturday from 11:00 AM, with music continuing late into the night. Confirmed 2026 performers include Mille (Thursday 25 June, 7:00 PM, main stage) alongside many more Danish artists. The full stage schedule is available on the official festival website.
Tickets
Tickets for Kløften Festival 2026 are sold exclusively through Billetten.dk, available as single-day tickets or three-day partout passes. Demand consistently outstrips supply; in 2025, all partout tickets and Friday/Saturday day tickets sold out within 36 hours of going on sale. A DKK 5.00 order fee applies per transaction. Payment on the festival grounds is cashless only, via a chip embedded in the festival wristband.
Sustainability and Community
Kløften Festival is a fully volunteer-run, non-profit organisation. Founded in 1980 as Haderslev Musikfestival, it is exempt from VAT, meaning all surplus funds and the equivalent of the saved VAT are redistributed to local voluntary associations and charitable causes in Haderslev. Any unspent credit remaining on festival wristband chips after the event is also donated to the festival's community fund.
Getting There
- Main entrance: next to the Ingo petrol station at Gammelting/Christiansfeldvej (the only wristband check-in point).
- The exit near the water tower closes after the last concert each evening.
- Shuttle bus wristbands for camping guests cost DKK 100.
- The grounds are fully accessible; all visitor information for guests with disabilities is on the official website.
- Arriving by train to Haderslev station and continuing on foot or by city bus is recommended.
Visitor Tips
- Buy tickets as early as possible; partout passes sell out fast.
- Load credit onto your wristband chip at the entrance, as no cash is accepted on site.
- Unused wristband credit can be refunded on Sunday 28 June (10 AM–2 PM) or Monday 29 June (4–6 PM) at the festival office on Hirsevej 2.
- Pack a light rain jacket and comfortable shoes for long days on the grounds.
- Book accommodation in Haderslev well in advance; capacity is limited during the festival weekend.
