Welcome to Logu i Bjeshkës 2027 in Lëpushë
On the second Saturday of August, expected to be August 14, 2027, the natural mountain meadow of Qafa e Predelecit near Lëpushë once again becomes the stage for Logu i Bjeshkës, one of northern Albania's best known folk festivals. Revived in its current form in 1998, the celebration draws on centuries old traditions of the Kelmend mountain region.

Program and Schedule: What to Expect in Lëpushë
The festival opens in the morning as guests and costumed groups gather at Qafa e Predelecit. Throughout the day, folk dance performances, traditional singing and the ceremonial crowning of the region's beauty queen follow one another. The exact 2027 schedule has not yet been published, but the celebration traditionally runs from late morning into the afternoon.

Logu i Bjeshkës is a public celebration and attendance is free. Food, drinks and regional products at the accompanying market are sold separately.
Visitor Tips: Travel and Accommodation in Lëpushë
- Most visitors reach Lëpushë from Shkodër, following the Cem river valley through Tamarë, or via the mountain road from Vermosh; a vehicle with good ground clearance is recommended
- Even in August, mornings and evenings can be cool in the mountains, so warm layers and sturdy shoes are worth packing
- Lëpushë has several small family run guesthouses known as Bujtina, which fill up quickly on festival day and should be booked well ahead
- If accommodation in Lëpushë is unavailable, staying in Tamarë or Shkodër and traveling in for the day is a good alternative
