Parkenfestivalen 2026 marks a historic moment: Northern Norway's most beloved non-profit music festival celebrates its 20th anniversary under the theme "En siste dans" (One Last Dance), closing an era in Rensåsparken, Bodø. The festival takes place on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 August 2026, welcoming up to 10,500 visitors for the final edition. In an unprecedented move in the Norwegian festival scene, all tickets sold out before a single artist was announced.

Lineup 2026
To mark its farewell edition "En siste dans", Parkenfestivalen has assembled an exceptional lineup. Confirmed artists include: Karpe, Steve Angello, Skunk Anansie, Suede, Johnny Marr, DumDum Boys, Sivert Høyem, Turbonegro, Arif, Ásgeir, Bendik, Espen Lind, Halvdan Sivertsen, Cari Cari, Tungtvann and further local artists from Bodø and Nordland. Venue and Stages
The festival is held at Rensåsparken, a spacious park close to the centre of Bodø. The four stages cover a wide range of experiences: the Amfiet main stage for international headliners, the Parkscena for additional acts, the intimate Svømmehallen Scene for smaller shows, and the Skogen stage, dedicated exclusively to local and regional talent from Bodø and Nordland. The festival site also features a wide selection of food and drink stalls.
Tickets
All tickets for Parkenfestivalen 2026 are sold out. The official ticket sale ran exclusively through Ticketmaster, with a limit of four tickets per person. A service fee of NOK 75 was included in the ticket price, with e-tickets available free of delivery charge. Return tickets may occasionally appear through the official Parkenfestivalen website or social media channels. Norwegian law caps resale prices at 20 % above the original face value. Visitor Tips
- Minimum age: 18 years. Bring valid photo ID.
- Bodø is easily reached by air; the airport is only minutes from the city centre.
- Accommodation in Bodø is limited; book well in advance.
- Rensåsparken is within easy walking distance of the city centre.
- Bring warm and waterproof clothing; August weather in Bodø can be unpredictable.
- In August, Bodø enjoys Arctic midnight light; nights remain bright throughout the festival.
