Welcome to the Rauriser Toifi 2026 in Rauris
On December 5, 2026, the small alpine village of Rauris in the Rauris Valley once again becomes the stage for one of Austria's most authentic Krampus customs. Accompanied by St Nicholas, two angels and the so called Einspeiber, the Rauriser Toifi move from house to house before gathering for the evening's climax on the market square.

Program and Schedule: What to Expect in Rauris
The parade sets off around 2:30 PM at the old Mesnerhaus. From there, the Toifi, St Nicholas, angels and Einspeiber make a first round from house to house through the village, returning to the Gasthof Neuwirt around 7:00 PM. After a short break, a second round follows, ending around 11:00 PM back at the market square in Rauris, where locals and visitors gather together.

The Rauriser Toifi is a public village custom and free for visitors to attend. No ticket is required, anyone wishing to watch the procession can find a spot along the route through the village or directly on the market square.
