Welcome to the Sagra del Cinghiale 2026 in Capalbio
From September 9 to 13, 2026, the Circolo Cavalcanti di Maremma near the historic center of Capalbio turns into a large open air kitchen for the 61st edition of the Sagra del Cinghiale. Held since 1965, this festival is one of the oldest and most established food events in the Maremma, celebrating the local wild boar cuisine.

Program and Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
The covered food stand opens every evening from 19:00 for dinner, with lunch also served from 12:00 on Saturday and Sunday. No reservation is required. At the same time, Palazzo Collacchioni hosts the Premio Gastone Franci art exhibition from September 9 to 30, with the award ceremony traditionally taking place during the festival.

Admission to the festival is completely free. Individual dishes and drinks are paid for directly at the stand; according to the organizers, only cash is currently accepted, as no card payment terminal is available.
