Welcome to the Ihringen Wine Days 2027
Every year on the weekend after Corpus Christi, the village of Ihringen in the Kaiserstuhl region turns into a lively wine and street festival. The Ihringen Wine Days 2027 are expected to take place from Friday, 28 May, to Monday, 31 May 2027 (official confirmation is usually announced a few months ahead). Ihringen sits on the sunny southern slope of the Kaiserstuhl, Germany's warmest wine growing region; the volcanic hills create a distinctive microclimate that produces bold, sun ripened wines, which take center stage during the festival.

Program
Right on time on Friday at 6:00 PM, the mayor and the Kaiserstuhl/Tuniberg wine princess ceremonially open the festival by pouring the specially created festival wine. Over the four days, Ihringen's local clubs serve the best of their kitchens and cellars in festively decorated courtyards and arbors, including Baden style beef, potato salad with Schäufele and homemade cakes. On Saturday at 10:00 AM, a Bavarian style morning gathering with keg tapping, sausages and pretzels sets a festive tone, followed at 2:30 PM by the popular winegrowers' olympics, where local clubs and visiting teams compete in wine themed challenges. A small fairground away from the main street entertains younger visitors. The detailed program and special transport schedules are usually published around two weeks before the event.
Admission
Entry to the Ihringen Wine Days is free; visitors pay directly at the stands for wine and food. A list of participating wineries and festival wine prices is available on the official Wine Days website.

- Travel by train, as the Ihringen station sits right next to the festival grounds.
- Arrive Friday evening for the opening to enjoy the festival wine and live music from the start.

- Bring cash, as card payment is not accepted everywhere.
